Centralized multiple large enterprise repositories and databases including Faculty Information System, central repository of institutional CV of record for over 1,200 faculty members, into a single enterprise application facilitating translational research based on faculty member’s research interests. The CV migration ran into delays and potential cost overruns due to inconsistency in the publications section. Implemented PubMed API to automatically import the faculty publications instead of parsing data from MS Word files thus saving over 50% in migration costs.
Reduced the number of member service calls for new user registration by 88% and the number of general customer service calls by 36% over a 9 month period by developing a software platform to address operational needs. The client was using spreadsheets to keep track of engagement activities, developed a system to extract data from the operational database into a data warehouse platform facilitating business analytics and reporting.
